Why make regular iced tea, when you can make this delicious Peach Tea Sparkling Mocktail? I don’t know about you, but when summer hits, I’m all about the sweet tea! But this Peach Tea Sparkling Mocktail is just so refreshing and gives you a bit of zing to make you feel like you’re drinking a cocktail. It’s perfect for those who are non-alcoholic or just want to take a new spin on iced tea.
Drinking ice-cold drinks during the summer is a must. As mentioned earlier, iced-cold tea is my go-to drink during this time. But, in Floured Frame fashion, I wanted to make something different. This drink was actually inspired by a similar drink I had at a Japanese Ramen Restaurant when I used to live in Virginia. It was such a refreshing drink, tangy, sweet, and with a hint of peach flavor. It was delicious! Once I saw the list of ingredients on their menu, I knew I had to make it. Luckily, it wasn’t that hard to recreate!
What you’ll need to make Peach Tea Sparkling Mocktail:
Peach Black Tea. This mocktail starts with brewing a small pot of peach black tea.
Simple Syrup. A little sweetness goes a long way, and can easily be made with equal parts of sugar and water.
Fresh Lemon Juice. Adds a bit of tang and brightens up the drink.
Tonic Water. This is the sparkling factor, a little bubbly won’t hurt!
A pretty simple ingredients list, wouldn’t you agree?
Make ahead of time!
Brew the tea. I like to do this a couple of hours before mixing the drink, just to ensure that the tea is cold.
Make the simple syrup. Another thing I like to make a head, as this requires you to dissolve sugar in some hot water. You want to make sure all the ingredients are cold before mixing!
Mocktails are fun and so festive – perfect for any summertime soirée! Best of all, these non-alcoholic drinks can be enjoyed by everyone.

1 tablespoon – freshly squeezed lemon juice, not concentrate
¼ cup – tonic water
Ice
Optional toppings: Rosemary, lemon slices
Equipment:
Small saucepan
Heatproof rubber spatula
Mason jar (to store the simple syrup)
Funnel, optional
2 short drinking glasses
Instructions
Make ahead:
Make the simple syrup. Heat the water in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until hot, but do not bring to a boil. Then, add the sugar and stir until fully dissolved.Allow syrup to cool to room temperature before using or storing. Carefully transfer the simple syrup into a glass jar, use a funnel if needed. This will make a lot of syrup, so you will have extra. Use it for other drink recipes!
Brew the tea. Brew the peach tea in hot water for 3-5 minutes, or according to the package instructions. Allow it to cool before using, I like to place it in the fridge to cool faster.
Assembly:
When you are ready to serve, combine all the cold peach tea, simple syrup, lemon juice, and tonic water in a jar or cocktail shaker, and shake/mix until thoroughly combined. Pour over ice into two glasses, and serve!
