Oh hey! I'm Keisha, and welcome to Floured Frame!
Floured Frame comes from a combination of both my love of cooking/baking and photography.
Floured: the kitchen is somehow covered in flour (not all the time).
Frame: framing the beautiful food photos you see.

Let's Start From The Beginning...
It all started when I was living in the Philippines to go to college. Every weekend, I would meal at my cousin's house to bring back to the dorm. I experimented with different recipes and ingredients. Along the way, I found my way into plant-based cooking. This encouraged me to be more creative in the kitchen and to be more inventive.
A couple of years later, I decided to create a food blog to share my creations with the world! Floured Frame was born. My goal is to show that plant-based food can be delicious, beyond salad and tofu. Recreate all your favorite foods without the use of meat, dairy, and eggs. So, if you're looking for a delicious plant-based recipe, this is the place for you.

My Introduction to Baking
My mother is a Filipina woman who loves to cook, but she is not a baker. Growing up, I never had any home-baked goods, which I didn't mind at all. It was when I moved to the States with my husband, that my mother-in-law started baking for us.
My world changed, and I started helping her more in the kitchen. We made some delicious breads, cakes, and other delicious treats. I immediately took over the kitchen and started recipe-testing my own baked goods.
Now, I'm sharing those recipes with every one of you!
