It’s everyone’s favorite basic fall drink, a vegan pumpkin spice latte! This cup is delicious, perfectly spiced, and will warm you as the temperature drops. Making a pumpkin spice latte is really quite easy to make, and the secret is my homemade pumpkin spice syrup. So why not bring the coffee shop experience into your own home? So quit waiting around, and let’s make ourselves a delicious cup of pumpkin spice latte!
I love pumpkin spice as much as the next person, and once I found out coffee shops were releasing their PSLs, I knew I had to get one. I was excited, it was released really early, and I just wanted to feel the fall vibes. Unfortunately, none of them exceeded my expectations. And it was to the point where I could not finish it the cup. I know, it’s wasting money, but it was really that bad. A lot of them use these artificial syrups, and they have no taste resemblance to pumpkin spice at all.
How to make a vegan pumpkin spice latte:
So, this is a really easy recipe to make. As I have said, the main star is the pumpkin spice syrup. Which you can find the recipe here. Once you make the syrup, all you need to do is simply make your coffee, and add the syrup to your liking. For me, I like to pull two shots of espresso, mix in about a teaspoon of the syrup, stir, add in my frothed milk and sprinkle a little bit more of the pumpkin pie spice over top. Optionally, you can add some dairy-free whipped cream to make it an even sweeter treat!
